Mr. Fair has demonstrated success in leading
national/global business and technology
initiatives, specializing in Business Consulting,
Technology Consulting, Business Development, and
Program Management.
As an expert in Change Management, Business
Process Management, and Technology, Mr. Fair's
diverse client experience provides him unique
insights into delivering comprehensive solutions
in complex business environments.
Having worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies,
Governments, and Small/Medium Businesses, Mr. Fair
excels at understanding the core of successful
business operations.
His career began with the U.S. Army at The
Pentagon as a Station Technical Controller,
managing Top Secret communications networks for
the Joint Chiefs of Staff, D.O.D, F.B.I., D.E.A.,
N.S.A., Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA),
The State Department, and The White House,
including Air Force One and the Washington to
Moscow Hotlink (The “Red” Phone).
At the Pentagon, he contributed to early Internet
development (the ARPAnet
and Defense
Data
Network), conceiving the
world's first DNS
Server on the Internet
with Paul
Mockapetris. The "Internet" had only one
thousand end users at that time.
Later,
he managed Department of Defense (DoD) and
North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
communications networks across the globe. After
completing the Special Forces Sniper Course
(SFSC) and Survival Evasion Resistance
Escape (S.E.R.E.) training, he conducted
many overseas Top-Secret missions supporting
various government and military intelligence
agencies.
Security
Clearance held: Top Secret/SI/SCI - NATO,
ATOMAL.
Post-military,
Mr. Fair joined Timeplex, Inc., managing
many critical national and global network
infrastructure projects.
At
Timeplex, Mr. Fair established himself as a leading
expert in emerging network technologies, notably
resolved
a very complex global network-wide problem that had
been perplexing Sprint engineers for several years,
Mr. Fair solved it in less than 30 minutes upon
arriving on-site at Sprint
leading to a multi-million-dollar contract to
for Mr. Fair manage a global project to redesign the
entire SprintNet backbone network (The
Internet).
He also developed and conducted comprehensive
Project Management training programs while managing
large-scale national and global projects for clients
such as Bank of America, Blue Cross,
Walt Disney, and The State Department.
His successes led to his promotion as Regional
Branch Operations Manager for the Timeplex Los
Angeles region.
Following Timeplex's downsizing, Madge Networks
recruited him to manage their largest accounts: Cigna,
Aetna, and GE Capital. And as Sr.
Program Manager, he contributed to the Times
Square Revitalization Project, working with NYC
Mayor Rudy Giuliani on the project, and
notably coordinated with Walt Disney C.E.O.
Michael Eisner secure Walt Disney's new
headquarters in Times Square.
His expertise extended to energy infrastructure
projects, working with Governor George W. Bush
on the Texas Natural Resource Conservation
Commission (TNRCC).
He also led the efforts to assist B.M.W. and
Mercedes Benz to open new manufacturing
plants in the United States, and served many other
international clients including Banco Do Brasil,
The Bank of Thailand, and Deutsche
Bundespost, he also worked with many financial
institutions like The New York Stock Exchange
and Morgan Stanley.
When Madge Networks acquired Lannet Technologies
in Tel Aviv Israel, Mr. Fair became the primary
engineering liaison to redesign the Lannet backbone
switch to meet U.S. technology standards.
When Madge Networks downsized Mr. Fair was recruited
by Nortel Networks, where he excelled in
designing and selling multi-million-dollar Core
Internet Backbone solutions. During the Dot-Com boom
in Austin, Texas, he was among the first consultants
to predict the impending market crash.
As a Network Security Expert, he consulted with DoD,
F.B.I., C.I.A., NSA, and The
White House on Network Security trends.
In 2001, he founded G Force Technology
Consulting, Inc., providing comprehensive
business and technology consulting and Project
Management services to executives.
In 2004, he established Uniform Display, Inc.,
to develop and patent The
Uniform Display Case.
Then as Sr. Project Manager at The Department of
Treasury, he led FOIA and EEO SharePoint
initiatives across multiple bureaus. He later worked
with A1 Consulting Group and DDOT on major
infrastructure projects including the Metro Silver
Line Extension and Southeast Capital Project.
More
recently Mr. Fair has worked on managing
multiple contracts with The Department of
Homeland Security (DHS), and the U.S.
Department of the Treasury/Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) where
he manages the agencies Zero Trust and
Cyber Security Programs per:
Known
for exemplary leadership and integrity, Mr. Fair
leads by example and sets a high standard of
integrity, business philosophy, and
professionalism.
He attended PhD programs at MIT and CalTech,
and completed PMI Project Management
Professional (PMP) training at St.
Petersburg College in Florida.
Mr. Fair was inducted into the MENSA
(High I.Q. Society) at age 19, demonstrating
exceptional abilities in complex structural
management.
